The Clothesline Project left an impression on me and had me thinking about a lot of different things. My emotions varied from outrage to sadnesss. It opened my eyes and made me wonder about my friends, my community m and my ideas about trust. The Clothesline Project was a very interesting display of t-shirts organized and decorated by people who have been affected by domestic violence. It amazed me how much information could get passed on a shirt, especially those stories. Some of the stories were ridiculous; I can’t imagine how some people can live with what they have done. I was outraged by the domestic violence that was shown within families. It is outrageous. It’s such a glimpse into a different life then what I know. One story that stuck with me is how a father slapped his daughter to the floor and stomped on her head. He then continued to beat on her head in front of a group of family members because it was Thanksgiving. How could such anger occur? Especially within bonds so strong as a father-daughter relationship? This made me
