Canisius College Physical Education Lesson Plan Format Teacher: Dylan Stawarek Unit: Lacrosse Lesson: Game play #of Students: 20 Length of class: 40 minuets Date: May 4 th , 2007 Lesson Objectives in the Students was learn and understand the rules and how the game of lacrosse is played. Psychomotor Domain : Cues in learnable pieces: 1. Always watch the ball. 2. Keep top hand at the top of the shaft, bottom hand on the knob when catching 3. Relax the wrists at the point of catching. 4. Slide the top hand about ½ way down shaft 5. Keep stick inline with your shoulder 6. Follow through and finishing with your head point where you want the ball to go. 7. Students have one hand on their stick 8. Students “open” the gate 9. Students “close” the gate 10. Students have one hand on their stick 11. Students “open” the gate 12. Students “close” the gate 13. Students have two hands on their stick 14. Students drop their front hand 15. Students “pump the well” 16. Students bring their stick back to their chest Cognitive Domain : 1. Students know to keep two hands on their stick while cradling with two hands
