Dylan Stawarek EDU 250 11/21/07 Chapter 10 1. Null Curriculum is curriculum that is not taught in school due to a variety of reasons, mainly because the information is not full. Extracurriculum, are activities that are non-credit bearing activities, such as after school sports team, or clubs. They are above the required curriculum. Integrated curriculum is a curriculum that combines concepts and skills from different subject areas so that they are mutually reinforcing. 2. National interest is evident in almost every aspect, trying to give every person the right for a good education, the Education for All Handicapped Children Act of 1975, and President Bush’s No Child Left Behind legislation. State and Local interest are mainly head by special-interests groups. They look after such thing as what text books to use, school violence and discipline. Such as the Improved Student Learning and Discipline Act of 1999, forcing all school districts to teach 27 traits to students at every grade level. 3.
