Influence of OT Wisdom motif on NT Proverbs 1:20ff (4 th -3 rd century BCE) - Wisdom is personified as a female figure Proverbs 8:22-31 - Wisdom is the agent of creation Jesus ben Sirach 24 (2 nd century BCE) - Wisdom is embodied in Torah 24:19 .
