Ian Yeoh Reflection Statement My story is a satire of humanity’s obsession with material values, profit and consumerism. (Through the use of motifs, metaphors, imagery and irony.) The use of a motif creates a theme of control. Representing how we dehumanize people for profit. “TO WORK IS YOUR ONLY PURPOSE” 3 times My story is an extended metaphor for humanity’s obsession with consumerism.
