Concept of chapter 9 is Think Right toward People. The aim of success is not only depend on you but also depend on support from other people. This chapter is describe how you can get support and accepts from others and how you build good relationship among your colleague to success in the future. The important think what you should do is think right toward people. The way to do is very easy First, Make yourself lighter to lift and you should practice being the kind of person who people like for instance, try to remember name of others, be a comfortable and an easy-going person, don’t be scratchy, practice to like people and the most important thing is you never miss an opportunity to say congratulation upon someone’s achievement, or express in sorrow. You should truly build friendship with other people because friendship cannot be bought. If you get some conflict with your friend, you should recognize no one is perfect or everyone has right to be different. So you should skip it and throw it away from your mine. Second, Think Positive. Your mind is a mental broadcasting station. This broadcasting system has 2 equally powerful channels which is Positive channel and Negative channel. A thing what you do is the thing that you think. For example, Boss complained Mr. A in the morning. If Mr. A thinks positive way, he will accept and try to improve himself. But if Mr. A thinks negative way, he will against with his boss. At this point, you can see your attitude toward your behavior. Third, the ways you think lead you to success. For instance, if you are very work-hard but you did not get promotion. If you think, you should be more work-hard than past, you will be success in the future. On the other hand, if you think, you should give up and do not want to do anymore, you will be failure in the future. We can apply this concept with Gordon Allport theory. His theory is about six basic motives or interests in behavior. Gordon stated that there are 6 things can motivate human behaviors which are Theory (system of thinking), Utilitarian (the thing that good to gain money), Aesthetic (passion to experience the impression and function of harmony), Social, Individualistic (stand by myself) and Traditional (the thing that carry from general to general). Gordon Allport summarized this theory that present factors can affect to human behaviors and the behaviors which express out are relate with motivation from subconscious.
