The data for site 2 shows a greater range in mercury concentration, with a difference of 114.18 ng/g between the minimum and maximum values, while the site 1 data had a range of only 73.31 ng/g. The mean for the site 1 data is 114.77 ng/g, while the mean for site 2 is much higher at 145.51 ng/g. The calculated variance for site one is 248.53 ng/g, and site 2’s variance is 474.19ng/g.
