2.1 BASIC MANAGEMENT OF FUJITSU Upon the number of organization size for about 1’616 employees, it indicates that Fujitsu Component (M) SDN. BHD is a large organization as the labor capacity exceed 500 people. With the status of a large company, FCM has engaged in several new and innovative practices and the management are divided into several departments. As referred to the organizational chart constructed by FCM, the management board is divided into Board of Directors, Department Managers, Section Manager and Assistant Manager. (Refer Appendix) Board of Directors are comprised of four Japanese directors, and three local General Managers. Managing Director with the assistances of other three Directors, are responsible for directing the activities of a specific department, managing other employees and ensures all business goals and objectives are reached. General Managers are positioned in the main operations of the company, which are on the Production Department with the responsibility for managing the corresponding units.
