Persuasive Speech Self-Assessment / Rubric Sue Le COM 225 Civic Issue Self-Evaluation SELF-EVALUATION 1. This time, i feel like my level of nervousness is lower compare to any other speech before. I prepared very carefully, kept telling myself that i can do it, and it's nothing hard just like the other time, i never stop thinking positive before giving my speech in order to “turn my nervousness from a negative force into a positive one”. I actually memorize the idea of the speech because i understand the situation that happened in Vietnam when i was still at my country. So for me, this speech was a little bit fluently since i put myself and my own knowledge onto it. 2. Compare to Informative speech, i did way better this time even though the topic was way harder. As i know that “an extemporaneous speech is carefully prepared and practiced in advance”, i did a good preparation for this speech so i spoke fluently without stopping too many times to think. Also it helped me a lot to influence the audience’s reception since it's easier for me to gave a speech, it was also easier for the audience to understand the idea of my speech. 3. A speech usually has three main parts - an introduction, a body and a conclusion. In order to organize all of my ideas into the structure, I wrote down the organization pattern and put my ideas into each part that match the idea. This time, i didn't use any method to get the audience's
