The Educators continuousprofessional learning•Organizations are committed to ongoing professional learning•Providing the educators a variety of opportunities•A professional learning library is available: books and articles, resources•Access to professional learning : facilitate professional learning sessions,coordinate speakers, provide support for educators.•Staff resources: discussion boards, register for professional learningsessions, access resources.
Arrival and DepartureSafe Arrivalof children in the program is ensured by requesting thatparents take their child directly to the staff member on duty eachmorning, initial the sign in/out sheet and indicate the time of dropoff, as verification of the child’s arrival.Safe Departureof children in the program is ensured by requestingthat the parents pick up their child from the program, initial the signin/out sheet and indicate the time of pick up, as verification of thechild’s departure.Written notice is required if someone other than the registeredparent/guardian is to pick up a child. A child will not be released tosomeone who does not have permission to pick him or her up. Theparent/guardian will be called should this situation arise.
