Here she will learnher skills. TeacherObservation:Prevocational Skills:Student InterviewTeacher Observation:Carla has difficulty with doing her hygiene routinewithout being told to do so. Carla has the right tools tolearn but, she will have to stay on top of her goals to getwhere she wants to by the time of transition. Herteacher mentioned she is having trouble staying on taskand this could aid to the fact she gets distracted easily.Teacher Observation: Carla will be able to learn thenecessary skills to work with after transition. This willalso build upon her prevocational skills to help herimprove entirely overall. Carla has mentioned she wantsto be more independent. She would need this class toget there and even though her normal class works onthese areas Life Skills would work a lot better.Student Interview:Carla seemed pleased in her events of wanting to livealone. She was really excited of her transition and knewshe wanted to live alone after transition and go tocollege. She expressed wanting to go to college as away to find her independence.A same-age student in Carla’s grade level would be able to have their own hygiene routinethrough practice with their parents. They are able to wash and dry their hands after usingthe restroom. They are able to shower alone and know the steps to follow in the shower,they remember when to brush their teeth.
