Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is a small company with a small staff. When they first started out they were distributing information manually to its dealers. By them using a manual process it was not cost effective. Since they were doing everything manually it was time consuming and they had multiple errors. By implementing collaborative technologies they had computers and communication software to help make their task a lot simpler and quicker. This helped reduce the amount of errors they were generating. This has also proved to be very cost efficient for them. [Bid14] IAL chose IBM WebSphere Portal and Workplace Web Content Management. The IBM WebSphere Portal provides ready to use tools and allowed them to build and customized an interactive user interface. The portal allows access to multiple platforms, like Windows, AIX and Solaris. It allowed for a common access point to distribute information and applications.
