A leader armed with wisdom will make sagacious decisions on when to let out information to the multitude and when to keep the mass uninformed. Complete honesty is not always a useful merit for a politician or statesman. Complete disclosure is actually to ignite some danger for oneself, implicitly or explicitly. Authority and prestige is essential for a powerful government, and the same for political leaders. Overexpose the shortcomings of a political leader to the public will undoubtedly shorten his political life and undermine his political competence
