The Healers Part 1- Opportunity page 38 “Affairs of the court…” Densu began. “…do no interest you.” Ababio cut him short. “Yes, I know. You have told me that before, and your father before you sang the same song. Ah, blood is amazing. How the son talks as if the father had lived for him to imitate. And he never even saw him.” He looked closely at Densu, with a look that might even have been affectionate. Then he said, “Densu, you are no longer a child. You’re a man, and I am talking to you about just those things that make a man a man.” I picked this passage because it reminds me of the some of the talks that my dad would have as I got ready to leave the home. Ababio and Densu remind me of my father and myself in some aspects. The
