2Personal PowerI have encountered so many personal issues in my life where I was hopeless and nowhereto turn to. A couple of years ago, I was diagnosed with bipolar depression due trauma I wasfacing that landed me in some tough spots. With that diagnosis, I was able to look for places toincrease my power to help build me stronger. The first place I would increase power in myself would be knowing what I stand for andknowing why I am placed in certain rooms/situations. Many times, we allow some of the worstthings to get in the way of us as a person, and it breaks us down because we do not have thestrength or power needed to avoid it or overpower it. Knowing what I stand for is understandingsometimes, it is not meant for me to be invited or welcomed in certain rooms, because maybe Iam too big for that room, and what I have to offer needs to be seen in bigger places. Even thoughI have spent much time saving others because I know how it feels to not have anyone to help youwhen you need saving. I was in a position where I drowned in my own misery, and thoughts. Inthis phase, I learned to know my purpose, I had to understand that I was the issue to somesituations. That is when I learned to stop being the victim in every scenario.Knowing my place in certain situations allowed me to fix myself in places I didn’t know Ineeded to be fixed. When I stopped being the victim, I seen areas where I lacked confidence, respect, integrity, and sometimes I was selfish. I know the places I needed the most help inpushed people away from me and allowed me to place myself in horrible situations that I am still
