Oracle Database Installation (Practice 2-2) 1. Open a new terminal window and install the Oracle database software as the oracle user. Navigate to the /stage/11.2.0/database directory, and start the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) by entering ./runInstaller. 2. The Configure Security Updates page is the first to appear. In your real-world environment, you would enter your email address and My Oracle Support password; however, because the classroom is an isolated environment, please leave the email and password fields blank. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
