It was an average beautiful day on campus, and Kurt and Igor were meeting for lunch. Kurt called Igor on the phone (1. Channel) to talk about where to go. “Hey Igor, where do you want to meet for lunch?” “How about at the cougar statues?” Igor said. “Sure I’ll be there in a minute”. Then Kurt hung up. After their conversation (2. Interactive Communication), Kurt headed over to the statues, one of his favorite places to be. For so many years the Cougar statues had symbolized everything great about the University of Houston, and to Kurt and Igor, they represented their deep love for UH (3. Symbol). Shasta had always been kind of a celebrity to them, someone they felt a close bond with, even though the cougar of course would never know they existed (4. Mystification). Kurt saw his friend in the distance, and began to walk towards him. At the same time, as they approached the area that held the cougar statues, they noticed something horrible, the statues were gone! “Igor what happened?! Where did they go?” Kurt exclaimed “I have no idea! They were just here yesterday!” Igor replied. As the two tried to panic about the missing statues, the chattering of squirrels in the background made it hard for them to think (5. Noise). 2

“Damn squirrels” Said Kurt. “I can’t do anything on campus without them butting in, they’re everywhere”.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
