PRACTICE: Tailor Your Cover Letter and Resume! Ever wanted to be a team mascot? Your significant other is playing on a semi-pro traveling sports team this summer. You are running out of options for summer employment. Without a plan, it looks like you will be living at home and back to your usual summer job. However, your significant other calls with great news: the team is hiring a mascot to travel for the summer! Below is the job description for this position. Submit a cover letter and resume for the opportunity to travel! WANTED: Enthusiastic and energetic person to be the new Cardinal Team Mascot! We are looking for candidates who can: Be team-players. Communicate with fans and players during games. Coordinate activities with announcers during games. Work with event planners and follow a “script” for activities.
