Through the history of our nation, race has always been a problem for over 239 years. The social constructivist about race was created since the beginning by the white Americans. The white Americas were the one that was superior over the black Americas and therefore forced them to be what they wanted them to be. Even in our government the black Americas were not considered to be equal to men, specifically white men. It is then highly persuading that the White America’s beliefs about Black America’s grievances have been significant enough to stimulate constituting race. The first thing that James Baldwin talks about is how the negros never had a language. This makes it hard for anyone to comprehend really what they went thorough during slavery. Although other people wrote stories of how bad it was and people to get to read experiences. He states that "“White America remains unable to believe that Black America’s grievances are real" white Americas do not want to believe it is real because they don't want their country to look bad. Baldwin is saying how the white Americas don't want to accept the fact that they have caused so much injuries and pain through slavery. Then Baldwin starts to explain why there a problem in our nation, " whites are unwilling to believe, namely, that black America’s grievances are real." To better understand every aspect of his argument we make G be " Black Americas' grievances are real," and let W be the rhetorically conceived white American that Baldwin has in mind." His first argument is "(1) W does not believe that g is true and does not want to believe that g is true"

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
