JOSEPH RUSSULLE Questions Outliers #1 Introduction“The Roseto Mystery”, “The Matthew Effect” Who influences you on a daily basis. Why do you surround yourself with these people? - My Family and friends influence me on a daily basis and I choose to surround myself with the, because of the motivation and support I receive. 1. Characterize the town of Helena as a community.(main idea) - The town Helena was the perfect example of a loving and healthy community. The people there were extremely healthy because they would watch the things they eat, exercise regularly and were very hard working. 2. What is your definition of success? Do you aspire to your definition of success? How will you go about achieving it? - In my opinion, success is accomplishing your goals. Although many people have different definitions about success, I believe we all have a basic understanding that success is simply achieving your aim or purpose. Many people today are more successful than others due to a variety of things. Focus is a major key to success. I believe that if you stay focused on achieving your goal, then your chances of being successful are higher. Chapter One: “The Matthew Effect” Explain the meaning of the passage from the book of Matthew 25:29.(main idea) What is “The Matthew Effect”?
