Summary: - Author of this article discussed about the importance of consumerism to the business person in order to sustain for longer period of time. He stated that the concept of consumerism used to be vague and ideal which now has changed and become more and more conscious issue. Author suggested that consumerism should have been the important part for the business values but not as essential as investment and profit. Every business person are taking consumerism as a burden which they have to bear rather than taking as an extra price for conducting the business. He has raised the question whether the consumerism and free enterprises are mismatched. Similarly, there are other questions that author is interested to present with the consumer good industry, retailers and the manufacturer.
