Introduction Ever since the post-industrial era till the 21 st century, talented people and scientists all around the world have been contributing their whole life into discovering new renewable and clean energy. Keep in mind that petroleum and diesel that we use in our daily lives are not fully pure and it produces soot and carbon monoxides due to incomplete burning it contributes to the pollution of our mother nature. Besides, it has been scientifically proven that most of the pollutions are mainly caused by the toxic gases that were emitted from vehicles such as cars, trucks and buses in the busy city. A recent study also shown that t ransportation is a critical component of sustained economic growth in industrialized societies. At a global standpoint, crude oil plays an important role as the main source of transportation’s fuel as it contributes the total amount of 94 percent. As the largest consumer of crude oil in in 2015 , the United States was responsible for about 25 percent of oil used worldwide (EIA, 2015f). The large quantities of oil consumed in the United States (about 19.4 million barrels per day in 2015 and the total) which contribute to two major problems: energy security and greenhouse-gas 1 (GHG) emissions. The use of petroleum-based fuel in transportation contributes about 30 percent of all carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions in the United States (EPA, 2015a). Therefore, by introducing a new renewable and clean energy could prevent further polluting the earth and saving the remaining leftovers fuels and energy sources for the rest of the days to come and a better understanding for the future’s scientist to improve its usage. In the recent decades, a group of dedicated energy savvy professors and scientist have already come up with the idea of introducing renewable and clean energy to further replace the petroleum and diesels. Renewable biofuels, such as ethanol and biodiesel, are used as

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
