Introduction: The Norse and Greek cultures were all mainly about honor and glory but sometimes because of this humanity became violent, selfish, and or it could have been because they were brave. Greek mythology was mainly all about glory and the male divine would just care about himself and family did not matter. Norse culture in my opinion was more about glory because they did things to protect their people and they were looked up to. Both of these cultures shaped humankind in numerous good and bad ways and I think that is what myths are all about explaining why we are shaped the way we are. Body: Main Idea # 1 a) Myths are as Dr. Nayak said, “tales about supernatural powers, cosmic origins, and relationships between divine and human” and what gets to me more about myths are the relation between divine and human. b) Norse and Greek mythology was based on fighting for what good or they fighting and killing for evil and bad reasons.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
