1. In the last official chapter, besides the Epilogue, the 15 th Chapter in “the invitation to the Life Span”, more in-depth psychosocial structures are researched throughout it. Complex forms of social interaction, mainly past relationships are discussed, and greater extensions of the human condition as well. In this chapter we learn a lot about the intricate and deep rooted connections that last forever in an older adult person’s life: such as friends, family, and long-term partners. Specifically for this chapter, I will be mainly focusing on Long-term Partnerships, that is, extremely long-term relationships. According to the author, “Spouses buffer each other against the problems of old age, thus extending life…” a study of over 250,000 participants proved this in 2007. (Berger 553). According to the author “Married older adults are healthier, wealthier, and happier than unmarried people their age.” (Berger 553). Research has also found that longitudinal research has found that spouses continue to affect each other, even in late adulthood: One older partner who is healthy and happy can severely affect another’s health and happiness.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
