Profile and Protocol Guidelines on South Korea and Greece Business Cultures Turbine Energy International is hosting business meetings with firms from Greece and South Korea. To facilitate the success of these meeting, we have created the following detailed profiles for each nation, which include cultural and business practices. The information provided will include the “do’s” and “don’ts” for business meetings, negotiations, luncheons, dinners, etc. Greece cultural background: Business attire o Greek business attire is conservative in nature. The men should wear a suit with a dark or medium color tie in winter. During summer, it is acceptable to wear summer attire, which is slightly more casual, due to the hot dry temperatures of southern Greece o Women should wear conservative dresses that cover the arms, or business suits with high heels Table manners o In Greece, it is more likely to be invited for coffee than lunch, though you may end up eating first and drinking coffee last o
