Rita Madozino Professor Melissa Chan Psychology 1, section 3304 October 8, 2016 Assignment #5 What is Classical Conditioning? Classical conditioning it is not a natural behavior, it is a modifying behavior. Behavior that was triggered by something that should be stimulated naturally. Conditions can be manually organized to learn new behavior. It is a learning process that occur when two stimuli paired together repeatedly. The first stimuli induce a natural response by the subject, while the second doesn't. And after enough pairing together, the second becomes conditioned and causes the response to happen (Chan, 2016). For example, when I visit my mom's house, and I am in the kitchen hearing the noise of the plates and seeing the food, it stimulates the salvation process in my mouth. Why is that? Because my mom always have this noisy plates when pouring the food on my plate, I remember the noise of those plates and after that her tasty meal is served for me. That makes me to relate the noise of the plates in her house. When the food is served it will always tastes great as usual.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
