The first unethical action that I noticed in the video case is when Ernie confronted Ted about how he has not indicated the disposal site that the “drums” were going to and about how the week before he had dumped them on county property. Even though Ted admitted that he had “goofed”, he then asked Ernie to cover for him. That is unethical because it is Ernie’s job to look over the plant and to make sure that everything is in order. For Ted to ask him to cover for him, Ernie could lose his job and even be sent to prison for breaking the law. Covering up the fact that toxic waste is being dumped in unsecure locations can also put a lot of people at harm and get the plant fined or even shut down. It was wrong for Ted to put himself, Ernie, the workers at the plant, and even the wellbeing of the plant in jeopardy. The next thing I noticed is when Ernie confronts Jack about his supervisory status over Ted. It is unethical for Ted to have Jack cover up the fact that his has been improperly disposing of the toxic waste. It is obvious that Jack is
