Journal #3 10. One quote that has stuck with me everyday since I heard it, is, “Love is wise, hatred is fool- ish,” by Bertrand Russell. I am drawn to this quote in particular because in the past, I have had  bad relationships and tended to hold grudges against those people. To me, this quote means  that hating someone does nothing for you except cause you pain, which in the end, makes you  foolish. I believe that loving someone rather than hating them will not only benefit you and make you live a more positive life, but will also have more of an impact on the person you were direct- ing hate towards. Hating someone will only put negativity in your life, and gives the other person power over you. If you love instead, they will not have the satisfaction of “pissing you off.” An- other quote that I love, which I heard for the first time just a week ago, is “Love involves a pecu- liar unfathomable combination of understanding and misunderstanding.” said by Diane Arbus. I  have always had a strange outlook on love. I never understood it, or thought I could partake in it because I wanted all the answers, and never wanted to be uncertain. This quote completely  proved me wrong. In my eyes it is saying that you will never fully understand love, or who it is

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
