Journal #1 Avery Shepherd 9/23 525003173 1. Yoga used to be a big part of my life up until the summer of 2015. Before I stopped,  I loved it. I always felt relaxed, healthy, and balanced after a yoga class. Since I  have begun yoga again, though, I have had a hard time getting back into the groove of things. I have definitely noticed I am not as flexible or balanced anymore, and find it difficult to clear my mind. I still do like yoga, and know that I can find it in me to  make it a big part of my life again, so I am glad it is a class I have to go to and make an effort in. I have always loved how I feel afterwards, like I made myself work, but  not in uncomfortable or overly-strenuous ways. I also feel good that I was being ac- tive rather than sleeping in, which is great start to my day/week. 2. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
