AUDIENCE ANALYSIS MEMO TO: MS. JONES FROM: KAYLA EDWARDS SUBJECT: TECHNCAL WRITING—ENGL 2338 DATE: ASSIGNMENT : COMPARE TWO WEBSITES WHO TARGET DIFFERENT AUDIENCES ABOUT THE SAME GENERAL TOPIC In connection to this week’s assignment I was able to find two websites with the same  topics but different audiences. The topic I chose was actually based on an article I came  across on NBC news that is about human evolution. When I first read this article, it was  easy to read as mostly all NBC news articles are. Which than made me think that if this  article is made for a general audience I wonder if this article or same topic was recently  written for a more professional audience as well. I began to do my research and came  across  . This article specifically was  about the same thing as nbc news was reporting but in more advance terms explains  “human adaption findings in the last 2000 years”. In just the titles alone I was able to  notice that there was defining things that changed the content of both articles to adapt to  different audiences.  It seems that the general purpose of nbc news and this article exactly is to give report on a headlining scientific topic. Its neatly organized in paragraphs with questions above each

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
