Christina Freeman 3-12-08 Indv. 102 Mr. Polakowski Extra Credit #2: Does wealth matter? Health care in the United States is an essential policy to life. Most working Americans have health insurance. It used to be that an employer provided a health care package. Usually, this package was considered pretty generous. This is not as common as it once was. More and more Americans find themselves without any form of health care. It could be due to the fact that our economy is in the gutters. It could be due to an increase in homeless people and poverty. Whatever it is there needs to be a solution to the growing epidemic of uninsured American citizens. With the Presidential Race underway candidates are showing their views on important issues affecting the American public today. Health care happens to be one of the issues that is in the spotlight. I found both the views of Obama, and McCain to be interesting in regards to the problem of uninsured Americans. They both have plans to insure the masses. Obama focuses on all citizens,
