-1Mike Gledhill Anthropology 368 Death and Dying Dr. Voninski I stand before you today with a smile on my face, with no ounce of sadness in my heart, honoring the life of Michael Gledhill the way he asked to be honored. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Dylan Giebler, Michael’s best friend and partner in crime. He once told me, which we joked about at the time, that on the day of his funeral, if any one of his close friends were to cry, he would “personally come back as a zombie and duff us right in the face.” But that’s the way Mike had always felt about life, why mourn the death of a person when you can celebrate the life and the impact he left on our lives. I cant even recall when I first met Mike, It had to have been somewhere around the fourth grade. I never really thought about it, he had just always been there. He was one of the most care free and laid back people I’ve ever known and had this natural sense of humor about him even when he wasn’t trying to be funny. Selflessness is probably the
