Brooke Saylor Vainglory Assignment 10AM Word Count: 359 Vainglory I chose to try and avoid looking in a mirror/at my reflection for 48 hours which I believe was extra challenging because I am a girl. Each time I looked in a mirror/at my reflection it was to check my appearance. I never realized how often I did this until this past Wednesday and Thursday when I kept track of all the times I checked myself out. Wednesday was the hardest of the two days and during the day I found myself constantly checking to make sure that my hair wasn’t messed up, that there wasn’t any food stuck in my teeth after I ate, etc. I even found myself looking at my reflection through my phone screen during class to see what I looked like (mainly because there was a cute guy sitting next to me). On Thursday I did a way better job of not looking at myself and I believe this is because I only had one class rather than four the day before. On Wednesday I wanted to make sure I looked good at all times. I really cared about how
