This interviewing process was refreshing for me. It was pleasant to see that
both the men and women in our society share my values and concepts of true
beauty. In the eyes of those I interviewed, beauty is based not solely on what we look
like on the outside, but more importantly the character of the individual.
I interviewed four women for this paper. All of them represent a similar
demographic, but one I feel is the dominant popular here in Provo. Sarah, Mary,
Kim, and Katie all come from the east coast. They come from well to do homes
where they have incredible parents. All girls were raised with good moral standards
and taught the importance of character. I was glad to see these values reflected in
the facets of the human character by which they define beauty.
All four of them talked about how important passion is in the men they date.
