http://www.arts.cornell.edu/econ/wissink/econ102jpw/ Announcements (Lec28 S08) It’s the LAST CLASS! Wow, time flies when you’re having fun!! THERE WILL BE SECTIONS ON FRIDAY – SLOPE DAY. (University insists.) NEED MORE APLIA POINTS? There are 609 graded Aplia points available and many points are still available. A bunch of “catch up” points are due, should you need them, no later than Sunday May 11. I suggest you do them BEFORE the exam, but if you can’t and still want the points – they are there for you. Policy Editorial: Send ME (at jpw6@cornell.edu ) a ONE-TWO PAGE editorial on what you think the presidential candidate's macro economic policy should be. Make sure to defend your position. Keep it brief and thoughtful. Imagine you are sending it to the New York Time or the Wall Street Journal. It’s worth 25 Aplia points, if I like it! MUST BE SENT TO ME BY NOON ON FRIDAY MAY 9 Keep checking the class Web page often for lots of end-game information and updates. http://www.arts.cornell.edu/econ/wissink/econ102jpw/ Also take a look at all four S08 prelims and answer keys in addition to all the other resource materials when preparing for the final. The best study strategy? Review the posted PowerPoints together with your own class notes and then review problem sets and prelims. (Expect to see a couple of questions to re-appear from the prelims. If you did them right the first time – great, you’ll get them right again. If you blew them the 1 st time, now’s you chance to get it right! However, also be prepared for “new” problems from all the old materials and, of course, the new material.) Econ 101-dl: Need 101? Want to take it at home during the month of June with Prof. Abowd and me?
