GODDARD- more of a public relations guy. Using IQ test to regulate social policys. Social inequality isnt a bad thing. mental Levels (mental age) questions answered by ppl of certain age. Ppl with higher scores should live better like than ppl w/ lower scores. BRIGHAM- wrote book in 1952 that analyzed army IQ data. Founded SAT. Ppl who had lived in US for 30yrs have same average IQ as ppl born in US. Less time lived in US = lower score. Ppl 30yrs ago came from northern Europe (smarter). Wanted restrictions on immigration to restrict ppl not from northern Europe. EUGENICS MOVEMENT- ppl who are poor, alcoholics, drug addicts, ect. Dont choose to make bad decisions, but have bad genes. Encouraged wealthy ppl (mostly white) to have more babies. Laws of inter-racial marriages (offspring was inferior to all). Forced sterilization to troubled inferior ppl (prevent social problems). AURTHER JENSEN- average racial difference in sterilization to troubled inferior ppl (prevent social problems)....
