Ratingsgiven at the end of the course alone will factor into the clinical grade, although the ratings willreflect progress throughout the course.6.The final grading for each clinical behavior under a specific course objective are averagedtogether to form a final grade for each course objective.7.The averaged final course objectives are then averaged together to determine an overall clinicalcourse grade using the College of Nursing grading scale.8.All clinical objectives are considered fundamental to nursing care. Students must achieve a 2 orgreater inallclinical behaviors to pass this course.GlossaryCourse Objective:A statement of student performance that demonstrates student learning and skilldevelopment.Course objectives are approved as part of the course approval process in the University, and arenot modifiable by individual faculty members without use of this process.
