Part 1: Alice has a computer with 8 GB of memory installed and running Windows Server 2012 R2, which she has configured as a Hyper-V server. After creating eight VMs, each with a startup RAM value of 1,024 MB, Alice is having trouble getting all eight VMs to boot. What settings can she modify to resolve the problem without changing the startup RAM value? Alice will need to enable the Dynamic Memory on each of the 8 virtual machines and then set the min RAM value on each to 512 MB. Doing this will allow each virtual machines to start with 1,024 MB of memory and then reduce its overall footprint, allowing the next machine to start. Part 2: Robert is designing a new Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure for a company called Litware, Inc., which has its headquarters in New York and two additional offices in London and Tokyo. The London office consists only of sales and marketing staff; it does not have its own IT department.
