Part 1:   You have several file servers. Several times during the day, the file server performance  degrades significantly. What steps should you perform to determine the cause of the problem? When the problem occurs, you should quickly use Task Manager to look at how the processor,  memory, and disk and network subsystems are performing. You should also look at the running  processes to see which processes are utilizing the most processor and memory utilization. If the  cause of the bottleneck is not obvious, you will need to use Performance Monitor to look at the  various counters to help further isolate the problem. However, to help you pinpoint the bottleneck,  you need to look at a baseline of when the system is running smoothly so that you can compare the  baseline values to the values when the system performance is degraded.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
