Case Project 6-1: Designing a Wireless Network for Roaming Team Members Design a wireless alternative network for roaming team members? The recommendation for the wireless network that I am going to make is a radio wave network. Based on the textbook I will recommend the 802.11ad. Some advantages of radio wave networking it is inexpensive, it gives an option for portable devices, and no licensing required. Some of the disadvantages would be interference from mobile phones and other Wi-fi devices, and natural obstacles. All departments will have a be split up into work areas or work groups, and they will be connected to one access point so that the company will have a total of 5 access points. Most portable machines and devices come with built in WNICs. Buying WNICs will not occur because most computers come with it built in, but if any devices need it, we will get them to the appropriate personnel. All the staff that moves around the buildings will have these devices/laptops. The ability for employees to be able to use their machines as they move around the building and can access information will save money and cost in the long run. [Mic1313]

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
