Major physiographic provinces of the U.S. Last class we discussed the Coastal Plain ( North American Coastal Plain ) physiographic province. The NACP is sometimes considered an ecoregion as well (on a finer scale, this includes the Middle Atlantic Coastal Plain ecoregion that’s part of our area). The authors of a very recent paper argue that the NACP should be recognized as a “biodiversity hotspot”. We’ll discuss this in two weeks. The PDF can be found in the “Additional Readings” folder.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
