Personal Job Analysis Job analysis are in charge of recruitment and selection, performance evaluation, training & developmental needs, job designing, and enrichment & enlargement. Job analysis jobs are an effective method in determining essential function of a job as required by The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as exemption status determinations under The Fair Labors Act (FLSA). My selected career for analysis is a financial aid advisor. F.A. advisors work together with students and parents to outline a plan for paying for school, including personal finances, student loans, government grants and private scholarships. Part 1: Description, Specification, and Evaluation A F.A. advisor’s future forecast, median pay, the number of jobs, the outlook and the employment changes are located on the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Not only can F.A advisors assist student in completing financial aid forms, they also help with making students aware f the different types of aid that can help with their college charges. The materials needed for this job are: desktop and personal computers, and PDA’s or organizers. The technology used is the Customer Relationship Management CRM software, document management software, financial analysis and word processing software. The working conditions associated with an F.A. advisor is typically in an office setting, mostly inside of n education facility. F.A advisors spend most of their work day sitting at the desk utilizing the computer. The environment is indoors and the temperature inside depends on the temperature outside.

Job Description The F.A. advisor team mostly consist of other advisors, the F.A. Manager, the Business Director and Campus Director. They keep close contact with other departments in the enrolling process with students. The job’s social interaction required is mostly face-to-face communication with students, parents, and other faculty members. There is also a lot of emailing and telephone conversations associated with this job as well.
