The connecting rod carries a mass contained in 1 lb (1/386) lb-s 2 /in concentrated at the CG, and the piston carries a mass also of 1 lb (1/386) lb-s 2 /in with the CG at joint B. Consider the crankshaft fully balanced (so the CG of the crankshaft is located at joint O 2 ) Consider a full revolution of link 2 with an angular velocity of link 2 2 = 1000 rpm, and then do the following: 1. Determine the forces at joints O 2 , A, B and the Track. 2.
