Notes for 11/28/07 The final will be cumulative in that one question will deal with what we covered in the last half of the course. The second question will deal with the entire course. Other than that the test will be the same format as the 1 st med term. World War I Is the first time of the United States acting as a super power, prior to that the U.S. was not a global power. Many consider WWII as a continuation of World War I. Because of unresolved issue concerning bad decision on how Germany should pay back for war reparations. For example, The U.S thought that the reparations that the Europeans insisted on were to Draconian. The Treaties were multiple and between each country which some say was a bad decision that all parties participated in. The example being the Austor-Hungarian Empire was broken up and two separate treaties were negotiated one for Hungry the other for Austria. Which mixed up the populations due to the reduction in land holdings in particular Hungry was all carved up and some
