The radius of the inner track is ½”, while the radius of the outermost track is 1 ½” . The number of bits per track is the same, and there are 8 bits per byte. How much area does a bit stored on the innermost track occupy, in square micrometers? 2. Four 1.5V batteries supply 100mA to a portable CD player. How much energy do the batteries supply in 3 h? 3. Two electric circuits, represented by boxes A and B, are connected as shown in the figure. The reference direction for the current i in the interconnection and the reference polarity for the volt- age v for the interconnection are as shown in the figure. For each of the following sets of numeri- cal values, calculate the power in the interconnection and state whether power is flowing from A to B or vice versa.
