Tumenjargal 1 Outline--Obesity Thesis Statement: the obesity among the youngsters mainly results from too much junk food, a lack of exercises, and parents’ ignorance. Topic Sentence: 1. The junk food is the original source, resulting in the obesity of the children. High-fat foods are dense in calories, loading up on soft drinks, candy and desserts. 2. Lack of the exercises also mainly leads to obesity among the youngsters. 3. Parents’ ignorance or spoil also may result in the youngsters’ obesity. The effects of the obesity: health problems, low-self esteem, isolation or teasing from outside pressure. The solution of the obesity problem: the family should pay much more attention on the children’s growing, and schools provide an environment that promotes healthy nutrition and physical activity habits simultaneously. Family: 1.The children’s parents should play a significant role on their children. The family could create an active and a healthy eating environment together. 2. The children could find a companion that enjoys exercising to go to the gym, or doing outdoor exercising. Schools: Schools are supposed to guide the students to the physical programs and nutrition programs. 1. Schools should require daily physical education and comprehensive health education (including lessons on physical activity). 2. The healthy eating in schools is used for the guidance to the nutrition

Tumenjargal 2 programs Conclusion: Obesity, as a big health problem, involves the youngster’s life gradually due to much junk food, lack of the outdoor exercises, and parental spoil. Moreover, obesity brings out the physical and mental problems simultaneously. In one word, the youngster’s obesity is harmful for their development though. Tumenjargal 3 Final Research Paper English 102 Obesity Negatively Influences Our Children I am more concerned about my weight because I have almost gained fifteen pounds since I came to the United States, 1.25 pounds per month on average. I am really embarrassed about changes in my appearance. Therefore, in order to figure out why my weight has gained a lot, I tried to recollect my daily serving. Probably I think getting so much junk food is the main reason. Before coming to the United States, I was the person who always paid attention to my eating habits and didn’t frequently eat junk food. Nevertheless, unhealthy food, such as ice cream, fried food, soft drink, peanut sauce, etc., fulfils my daily life now. Actually, a lot of Americans always ignore their health and eating habits. That causes obesity which is very common in the United States. Undeniably, we cannot endure such a phenomenon happening in our society, for such a disease will bring us a lot of negative influences, especially our younger generations. Therefore, by doing this research, I hope I can draw parents’ attention
