This is what affirmative action means an action or policy favoring those who tend to suffer from discrimination especially in realtor to employment or education positive discrimination that employment programs by federal statured and regulations designed to remedy discrimination generally only established on the percentages of minority in a specific region factors considered are race color creed and age. Affirmative action has been around for 50 years at the start of affirmative action was used to level the playing felid for all minorities in life. The police at the time where the first just like all government agencies at that time to use it , I do support this action it has made the world a better place since the 60,s when this action got started it wasn’t
