Kent Sped 298 Review of article “Columbia Still Reeling Over Visit” At Columbia University, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was asked to speak and was put up on a stage and portrayed as a monster. President Lee C Bollinger of Columbia University asked his students to live up to the best of Columbia’s traditions yet he himself did not. President Bollinger introduced him as a man who showed “all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator.” Although he may right in his accusations his presentation was not only petty but also unprofessional to say the least. Why any University would invite such a crude and uneducated dictator to their school is appalling
