Prep schools make promises if you go their school you will get into an Ivy League School, but only the students with the best grades get into these schools. Nationally 78% of college students attend public institutions only 58% of boarding schools even apply to public institutions. While 2% of the national college population attends these highly selective colleges. Students who get into Brown, or Amherst feel like failures in comparison to students who get into Yale, Harvard For Letters of recommendation prep school advisors have smaller numbers of students to supervise and are able to write a well-reasoned letter for each student. One’s ability to have a good letter of recommendation from a known Ivy League
