(CBS.MW) - I realize that this headline may trigger every spam filter in the world. But I am not focusing on what those filters are trying to block. Instead, the question I am posing has to do with the size of your portfolio. How big should it be? Your answer might be along the same lines of what Abraham Lincoln is reported to have replied when asked how long a man's legs should be: Long enough to reach the ground. But it would be foolhardy to say that, because performance is the only thing that counts, you don't care about portfolio size. This is because of a combination of psychological and statistical reasons. Consider first the psychological reasons, as articulated over the weekend by Kevin Kennedy, editor of the Coolcat Explosive Small Cap Growth Stock Report.
